James Randall “Randy” Maxwell

James Randall “Randy” Maxwell was born October 24, 1958 in Cotton Valley, La., He is the son of the late Edward C. Maxwell and the late Marguerite McMichael Maxwell. He was raised most of his young life in Sarepta, La. where he attended and graduated from Sarepta  High School. He then went on to attend and graduate Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1980. Randy married his high school sweetheart Bonnie Grappe Maxwell on June 2, 1978 and have been married for 36 years. They have two precious children; their daughter, Ashley Rae Maxwell of Alexandria, La., and son, Kyle Randall Maxwell of  Baton Rouge, La. Also a beloved mother-in-law Audrey Rowe of Winnfield. Randy has one sister Judy Zeiter of California, brother, Dennis Maxwell and his wife Rhonda Maxwell of Arkansas; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Randy started his career working in Shreveport, La. for a local CPA firm.

Annie Bell Newsom Parker

Annie Bell Newsom Parker, age 94, passed from this life September 7, 2014. A graveside service was held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Sikes Baptist Church Cemetery, Sikes, Louisiana under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, Louisiana with Rev. Eddy Shoemaker officiating. Annie Bell was born to the union of Christopher Montgomery and Katherine Rebecca (Carter) Newsom on February 3, 1920. Those surviving Annie Bell are her daughter Norma Buckelew and husband Glenn, a granddaughter, Trish Kitterlin and husband Robbie; two great-grandsons, Neal Kitterlin and wife Jen and Dirk Kitterlin and wife Meagan; a great-granddaughter, Brittney Shambro and husband Alex; three greatgreat granddaughters, Hunter Kitterlin, Mia Kitterlin, and Sierra Shambro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death are her parents, husband Rush Parker, daughter Ailene Parker, and brothers C.M. Newsom, and Lloyd

Kenneth Thomas “Kenny” Egan Jr

Kenneth Thomas “Kenny” Egan Jr., 70 of Bowling Green VA, formerly of Louisiana, died Tuesday August 26, 2014 in Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. He had retired as a Chief in the United States Navy after 21 years of service.
After his retirement he had a career as an automotive instructor at the Louisiana Technical College, Huey P. Long Campus and also traveled the country for NATEF certifying schools with automotive programs. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Egan; his son, Michael Egan (Kim); three daughters, Connie Guillot (Brett), Mattsye Miller and Karen Egan; a sister, Phyllis Brewton; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family celebrated his life by receiving friends at Storke Funeral
