Mrs. Marjorie Alice Evelyn (Block) Beal, age 84 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014. Born Sunday, June 01, 1930 in Martinez, California, she was a member of Sanders Assembly of God Church and was a retired Certified Nurses Assistant from Winn Parish Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Arthur William and Violet Marie Block; Husband, A. P. Beal, Sr.; Brother, Bill Block; Sisters, Bethel Block and Jerri Block; Great Granddaughter, Christina Maryweather. Those left to cherish her memory include her Daughters, Sharon Provence and husband Tommy, Winnfield and Ida Johnson and husband Roy, Calvin; Son, Andy Beal and wife Wanda, Haughton, 9 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.  Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Shaun Garner and Rev. Arthur Robinson officiating. Interment followed in Sanders Chapel Cemetery, in Calvin.

Mr. Willie Edward Frederick, Sr., age 83 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014. Born Tuesday, August 04, 1931 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Frederick and Willie Leona Gilcrease Frederick; Son, Willie E. Frederick, Jr.; and Brother, Earl Frederick, Sr. Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife, Ida Mae Boyett Frederick, Winnfield, LA, Son, Mark Steven Frederick, Winnfield, LA, Granddaughter, Andrea Hymel and husband Cliff, Phoenix, AZ, Brother, Troy Frederick and wife LaNell, Winnfield, LA, Brother, Thomas “Bootsie” Frederick and wife Carlotta, Winnfield, LA,, Brother, Floyd Frederick, Winnfield, LA, Brother, Leslie Frederick and wife Mary, Winnfield, LA Jeff Carpenter, Tony Frederick, Dustin Frederick, Bruce Crain, Chuck Curry, and Timmy Frederick served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were James Eugene Carpenter, Gary Carpenter, and Emery Billy Henderson.
