Jeffrey Bruce Holmes, age 53 of Dry Prong, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at home in Dry Prong, Louisiana. He mined and quarried rock in Louisiana and Arkansas for over twenty years. He enjoyed building models of houses out of popsicle sticks. He is preceded in death by his father, William Holmes. A Mass of Christian Burial for Cherrie Webster was celebrated at 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Montgomery, LA with Father Blake Deshautelle officiating. Interment followed at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Montgomery, LA under the direction of Kramer of Colfax. Visitation was held on Monday, July 7, 2014, at Kramer of Colfax. Family Eulogies & Reflections was followed with a recitation of the Holy Rosary. Cherrie Webster, 82, of Ball, LA, passed from this life with her family and friends to the next, to be with our Heavenly Father on July 4, 2014.

Mr. Haddock Ewell Rutledge, Jr., age 73 of Vivian, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014. Born Monday, November 04, 1940 in Alexandria, Louisiana, he was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnfield, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shriners and Eastern Star. He was also a veteran of the US Air Force SAC Division. Mr. Rutledge was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish almost as much as he adored his faithful companion puppy, Sophie.
