The Drought is Over: WSHS Baseball Team Third Round Bound-Quarterfinals

Article Image Alt Text

The boys started off hot drilling the ball going up 4-1 early in the game, however this lead quickly evaporated with the tigers being spelled by countless errors that saw their lead disappear and they dropped the first game, 6-9. It was disappointing for the boys as they watched Springfield team and fans celebrate their win with a upset of the #6 ranked Tigers on their turf. The Tigers would be looking for revenge on Saturday knowing they had just beaten themselves.
