Miss Helen V. Smart, age 90of Winnfield, Louisiana passedaway on Saturday, May 2,2015.Born Saturday, April 11,1925 in El Dorado, Arkansas,she was preceded in death byher Father, David F. Smart,Mother, Artie O. Smart andBrother, Charles V. Smart.Those left to cherish hermemory include her Brother,Richard D. Smart and numerous nieces and nephews whoalways affectionately called her “Aunt Sis.”Miss Smart leaves a legacy that includes forty-eight years ofservice in business where she utilized her speaking and literaryskills. One of her proudest achievements was her work as coed-itor for the Desk and Derrick Club, a national publication forprofessional women, where she won an award for an article shewrote on the history of her company Ridgways.
