Delbert Frank “Hot” Griffin

Mr. Delbert Frank “Hot” Griffin, age 71 of Jonesboro, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Born Monday, May 03, 1943 in Calvin, Louisiana, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, a graduate
of Calvin High School and was a heavy equipment operator in the pipeline construction industry for a number of years.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his Parents, Odie and Lela Frances Wilks Griffin; Wife, Loretta Kelly Griffin; Brothers, A.J. Griffin, J.B. Griffin and Leslie Griffin; Nephew, Jimmy Griffin, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife, Rhonda Self Griffin, Jonesboro; Daughters, Sharona Jurek and husband Troy, Winnfield and Sheree Barrios and husband Todd, Nacogdoches, TX; Step-Son, Robert D. Tilley and wife Dana, Hilltop Lake, TX; Step-Daughters, Robin Tilley, Dry Prong and Rebecca McBride and husband Jeffrey, Weston; Brother, E.A. Griffin and wife Jackie, Calvin; Sister, Dorothy Long and husband Jimmy, Natchitoches; Grandchildren, Emily Jurek, Abby Jurek, Camryn Barrios, Caden Barrios, Cale Barrios, Logan Garner, Andrew McBride, Emma Kate McBride, Elizabeth Holman, Chris Passons, Analisa Francia, Stefanie Owen, Casey Tilley and Dylan Tilley; 6 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Clovis Sturdivant and Rev. Charles Wesley officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield. Serving the family as pallbearers were Troy Jurek, Todd Barrios, Robbie Tilley, Jeffrey McBride, Jim Colvin, Danny Barr. Honorary pallbearers were Andrew McBride, Caden Barrios, Cale Barrios, Casey Tilley and Dylan Tilley and
