The 2014 Miss Winn Parish Pageant was mistakenly printed in the fair catalog as being held at the Winnfield Kindergarten School. The Winn Parish Fair and Rodeo will make its way through the area beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29. The Winn Parish Fair is the single largest public entertainment event of the year in our area, and a rich tradition follows it.

The Winn Parish School Board held a special budget hearing just before the Sept. 2 regular meeting on Tuesday. Tami Austin, Business Manager, presented the board with the finalized 2014-2015 consolidated budget, which required any feedback from

the board and the public before being added to the regular meeting agenda.
