Students are getting ready for Red Ribbon Week® 2019 – this year’s theme is: Send A Message. Stay Drug Free. At school, students will engage in activities that promote a drug free and healthy lifestyle. Please partner with us and discuss this message at home, at the dinner table, at family outings, and with friends and extended family. WSHS Forestry Team Places Highly at State

Library to Host Legal Advice Program

The Winn Parish Library, in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) and the Louisiana Library Association (LLA), is presenting its sixth annual “Lawyers in Libraries” statewide program on Oct. 22 nd and 23 rd . Attorneys Lewis Gladney and Rossanna Mcllwain will provide free individual consultations on legal issues beginning at the main branch located at 200 North Saint John Street, Winnfield.

QC Announces Driver of the Year

We would like to offer our congratulations to Abdul Standfield, Independent Contractor from QC Affiliate Gulf Coast Express Carriers Terminal 826 in Winnfield, LA, for being selected as the 2018-2019 Driver of the Year for Quality Carriers!

With over 20 years of driving experience, 10 of which have been with QC Affiliate, Gulf Coast Express Carriers, Mr. Standifield has been identified by his peers as an example of what a professional driver should be. During his driving tenure, Mr. Standfield has accumulated over 2 million safe miles, the majority of which were compiled while driving with QC.
