WMS Students Compete in Louisiana State Science and Engineering Fair Virtually

Due to the COVID-19 concerns in the state and out of an abundance of caution, LSU administration decided to hold the Louisiana State Science and Engineering Fair virtually instead of on-campus. It was originally scheduled to be held March 16-17, 2020. Judges reviewed over 100 project research plans and official abstracts that had been submitted by students. Students also were able to submit a single photo of their project boards.

Lisa Graves, coordinator of the state virtual fair sent an email to WMS science fair coordinator, Carolee Adams, stating, “Congratulations to those who participated in the virtual fair! Fair organizers wish to thank all volunteers, judges, and LSU Online & Continuing Education staff who assisted in this and made it all happen!”
