She wasretired from the Grant ParishSchool Board having served as principal of Georgetown High School.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. John Holland officiating.Graveside services followed in theGarden of Memories Cemetery inWinnfield. Mr. Anyan was born on October 7, 1934 in Winnfield, LA. He grad-uated from Winnfield High School in 1954. Mr. Anyan entered theUnited States Army Reserves following high school graduation andwas honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1961. He attended theUniversity of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana-Lafayette) from 1959 - 1963. He was a successful registered profes-sional land surveyor for 28 years before retiring in 1994. He met thelove of his life, Inez Cherry, in Monroe, LA in April 1956 and theywere married in December 1956.
