The 2015 Miss Winn Parish Pageant which will be held Saturday, September 19 at Winnfield Senior High School is proud to announce that this year’s entrants will participate in the “Pageant with a Purpose” concept of service as promoted by Pilot International. Each entrant will donate 5 puzzle books or children’s books to be given to those youngsters without books at home. Sponsored by the Pilot Club of Winnfield, this pageant exemplifies two of the international organization’s goals: leadership in young people and caring for others through “Pick Me Ups” such as the book donations. Because education is such an important part of leadership, the winner of the Miss Winn Parish Pageant will be awarded a scholarship by the Pilot Club of Winnfield.
