Tigers Start District Season 12

The Winnfield baseball team started their district season this past week against some pretty stiff competition. The Tigers dropped a close one to #4 Oak Grove 6-4, lost to #5 Sterlington 6-0, and defeated longtime rival Jonesboro-Hodge 13-7.
Despite complete game performances from junior Payton Kepper and senior Bayden Sanders, the Tigers were not able to pull the upsets against their top 5 district foes.
