Virine Pender, 68, of Hermann, MO, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at her residence. Virine was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 1, 1947, a daughter of the late Elzie Butler & Lydia Cleo (Woodall) Barbo. She was married to Billy Carol Pender in May of 1968, in Louisiana. Billy precedes her in death. Virine was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Cuba, MO. She worked as CNA. Virine is survived by her children, George Coleman and wife Kelsey Sapp, Columbia, MO; Tracy Case and fiance Corey Romaker, Hermann, MO; Bonita Lottmann and husband Mike, Union, MO; Billy Coleman and wife Denna, Steelville, MO; Retta Russell and husband Gary, Viburnum, MO; and Paul Nelson Jr., Washington D.C.; by a sister, Gloria Jean Mueller and husband Norman, Cuba, MO, a special friend Linda Hill, Hermann, MO, her longtime companion Paul Nelson, 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Cecil Roy Bryant of St. Maurice went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2016 with his wife, children, and brother-in-law by his side. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Bryant; father, Archie Bryant; infant brother James Anthony Bryant; nephew, Kenneth Ray Gorum; and niece, Rolinda Gay Gorum. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlotte Bryant; son, Cecil D. Bryant; daughter, Ramona L. Benoit and husband Johnny; two grandsons, Ryan Dubois and fiancée Lindsy; Terrance Bryant and his fiancée Amanda McGothlin; two great grandchildren, Emma Allyce and Hunter Daniel Bryant. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Gorum and husband Donald; brother, Joe Bryant and his wife Kathy; sister Marie Mooney and husband Terry; sister Debbie Meredith and husband Bobby; and a host of nieces and nephews. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, a love passed on from his daddy to him and his brother. He enjoyed sharing his catch with friends and family or anyone who was in need.

Tristen Howell-Johnson, infant son of Seth Howell and Jessica Johnson of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Seth Ray Howell and Jessica Olivia Kelley Johnson, of Winnfield, LA; paternal great grandmother, Betty Howell of Winnfield, LA; paternal grandparents, Marshal and Liz Howell of Winnfield, LA; maternal grandmother, Tonie Kelley of Victorville, CA; sisters, Melissa Johnson, Kaylee Johnson and Brylee Howell, all of Winnfield, LA; brothers, Dylan Griffin and Luke Johnson, also of Winnfield, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. Mike Howell officiating.

Ms. Victoria Ann “Vickie” Hampton, age 45 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Born Friday, August 21, 1970 in Jackson, Mississippi, she was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and a graduate of Winnfield Senior High School and loved singing, baby sitting and above all, visiting with her family and friends. Ms. Hampton was preceded in death by her Father, Joseph Edward Hampton; Brother, Franklin O. Lunsford, Jr.; Grandparents, Mildred Calhoun Wilson, Earley Elton Calhoun, Sr., Callie Victoria Hampton and Elzie Kemp Hampton. Those left to cherish her memory include her Parents, Franklin Odell and Ann Calhoun Lunsford of Alexandria; Siblings, Joseph Todd Hampton of Bentley, Charles Keith Holland of Yazoo City, MS, Diane Lunsford Jones of Winnfield and Freda Lunsford Spangler of Winnfield; Special Friend, James “Bubba” Keen of Winnfield. Mr. Abraham Muniz Villalobos, Sr., age 42 of Dodson, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016. He was born Saturday, July 28, 1973 in Cass City, Michigan, and was currently employed as a log truck driver with O’Bryan Trucking Company. Mr. Villalobos was predeceased by his parents, Pedro and Maria Bazaldua Villalobos. Those left to cherish his memory include his Children, Abraham Villalobos, Jr., Selena Villalobos and Billy Villalobos; Siblings, Hermelinda Leal, Juana Salazar, Guadalupe Villalobos, Maria Reynoza, Pedro Villalobos, Jr. and Alma Prieto. Graveside funeral services ere held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Beulah Cemetery with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Serving the family as pallbearers were Abraham Villalobos, Jr., Caleb King, Raymond Moore, Jason Wynne, Ronald O’Bryan, Pedro Reynoza, Jose Reynoza and Robert Evans.

Mrs. Gay Ramona Baker, age 84 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016. Born Saturday, December 12, 1931 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her parents, Finus Worsham, Sr. and Velva Daige Worsham; and husband, Robert E. Baker. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Judy Baker Jordan and husband Ronnie, Jena, LA; son, Robbie Baker and wife Donna, Natchitoches, LA; brother, Robert Worsham and wife Vivian, St. Francisville, LA; sister, Gloria Dunn, El Dorado, AR; granddaughters, Tammy Bento and husband Jeff, Stephanie Shuff and husband Sam; great granddaughters, Sydney Stickle and fiance Pete San, Shelby Stickle, Eryn Shuff, Jaden and Kennedy Baker; grandsons, Jason Baker and wife Crystal, and Robert “Chris” Baker; great grandsons Kolby Green and Barrett Baker; and great great granddaughter, Addilynn San. Alan Dwitt Carpenter, age 29 of Saline, LA passed away June 17, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Carpenter was born April 13, 1987 in Ruston, LA. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather Jimmy Rex Carpenter, Maternal Grandfather Darrell Storar and a special Great Aunt Jewel Andrews. Survivors are his wife Tiffany Bailey of Haughton, LA; one son Stratton Alan Carpenter of Haughton, LA; father Timothy Alan Carpenter of Saline, LA; mother Stacy Lynn Storar of Stamps, AR; two brothers Michael Carpenter and wife Jessica of Stamps, Ar and Nicholas Storar of Stamp, AR; one sister Jennifer Sanders and husband Jason of Stamps, AR; paternal grandmother Betty Carpenter of Goldonna, LA; maternal grandmother Elaine Esters of Stamps, AR; uncle and aunt Monty Dale Carpenter and wife Pam of Saline, LA; niece and nephew Jacie and Jackson Sanders of Stamps, AR; and a host of cousins and friends.
