Annie Goodwin, age 47 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017.Born Friday, January 9, 1970in Ruston, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her father, Carl W. Admire; son, Joshua Admire; and daughter, Cassandra Brown. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Selbie Thornhill Smith and step-father, Roger Smith, Winnfield, LA; sisters, Delisa Blake and husband Tommy, Goldonna, LA, and Dawn Homan and husband Sam, Winnfield, LA; half brothers, Michael, Emory, and William Admire; half sisters, Patricia and Niki Admire; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2017at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, from 4:00 PM until7:00 PM. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Southern Funeral Home with Reverends Brian McAllister and Steven Smithson officiating. God has you in his arms, we have you in our hearts.

Mrs. Helen Louise Bruce Kendrick, age 75 of Georgetown, Louisiana passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017.Born Thursday, December25, 1941 in Rochelle, LA, she was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Eunice Brazzell Bruce; and her brothers Richard Bruce and James Bruce. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Malcolm “Mutt” Kendrick; daughters, Kay Mitchell (Booger)and Kelly Kendrick; her sons, Jeff Kendrick (Sissy), Jody Kendrick, and Jason Kendrick (Krystal); and her sister, Mary Brunson; 19 grandchildren, 17 great grand children, and 3 greatgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 10,2017 at Georgetown Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Bruce and Carl Griffith officiating. Interment followed in Georgetown Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Serving the family as pallbearers were Carl Bruce, Scott Bruce, Dee Brunson, Jamie Brunson, Mark Bruce, Mark Kendrick, Mike Bruce.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church in Winnfield, LA on Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. for Michael Lee Tinnerello, age 72 of Winnfield, LA who passed away on Wednesday, April 5,2017, in Winnfield after a lengthy illness. Mike was born June 19, 1944in Winnfield, LA to the union of Emile Joseph “Pete” Tinnerello and Francis Kathleen Dunn Tinnerello. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Tyron Tinnerello and his brother, Thomas Robert Tinnerello. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Shelby Jean Erskins Tinnerello; brother Emile Joseph “Pat” Tinnerello (Linda); sister Teresa Kathryn “Kathy” Tinnerello Turner (Randy); sister-in-law Anita Tinnerello; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mike was a lifelong resident of Winnfield, LA, graduating from Winnfield High School in 1962 where he was an out-standing all-around athlete.

Mr. Link Larn Allen, age 49 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Mr. Allen was a retired auto mechanic. Born Tuesday, May 2, 1967 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his father, Leonard L. Allen; brother, Lex Allen; grandfather, Lloyd Allen. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Gloria Butler Muller; uncle, Onis Allen; brothers, Lacey Allen and Lance Allen; sister, Vicki Allen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin Kurt Yellott, age 38, were held at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the Plain Dealing Baptist Church, Plain Dealing, LA with Rev. Andy Harris officiating. Interment followed in Hamiter Cemetery, Plain Dealing, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Plain Dealing, LA. Mr. Yellott was born on August 5, 1978 to Donis Timothy Yellott and Vickie Elaine Hamiter Yellott in Dallas, TX and passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Winnfield, LA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Iraq War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved his family very much. He is survived by his daughter, Gracie Yellott; two sons, Luke Yellott and Spencer Yellott; parents, Donnie and Vickie Yellott of Plain Dealing, LA; two brothers, Tim Yellott, Josh Yellott both of Plain Dealing, LA; step-son, Kessler Matlock; best friend, Kristan Green of Winnfield, LA; and a host of other family and friends. Jace Michael Barber, age 4 months of Goldonna, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Jace was born Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Those left to cherish his memory include his Parents Michael and Jamie Garner Barber, paternal grandparents Jeff and Lori Barber of Winnfield, and Deanna McDaniel of Georgetown, paternal grandmother Debra Garner of Goldonna, paternal great grandparents Wayne and Carolyn Barber and Leonard and Evelyn McDaniel all of Winnfield, uncle Robert Barber, aunts Amanda Parker, Rachel Graves and Alyssa Garner. James E. Carpenter November 15, 1932 – March 7, 2017

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Patterson for James E. Carpenter, a native of Calvin, LA and a longtime resident of Patterson was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 84 on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Interment followed in the Morgan City Cemetery. Rev. Mark Norwood, Rev. Joe Thibeau, and Rev. Lamar Carpenter will conduct the services. Serving as pallbearers were Justin Carpenter, Adam Vaccarella, Carson Vaccarella, Matthew Carpenter, Denis Gravois, and Peter Vaccarella. Honorary pallbearers were John Garrett, Jack Bice, John Carpenter, Wesley McReynolds, Bob Watson, and Jerry Boyles. Relatives and friends were invited to join the family for the visitation on Thursday at First Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.
