Spencer Bailey Scott, age 73 of Winnfield, LA passed away November 21, 2015. Memorial services were held Saturday, November 28, 2015.

Essie Dee Theus, 96 of Winnfield, passed away November 17, 2015. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 28, 2015.

Kelly Wilson, 95 of Winnfield, LA passed away November 20, 2015. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 28, 2015.

Mr. Charles Darrow Parker, age 87 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Born Thursday, July 19, 1928 in Sikes, Louisiana, he was a retired Senior Master Seargent with the USAF. He worked in the mill supply industry and later co-founded Central Industrial Supply. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a Gideon. His true passion was his family and his Twin Springs camp on Toledo Bend. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his Parents, Jesse James and Eula Effie Parker; Daughter, Dwanna Parker; Siblings, Sharon Parker, Marshal Parker, Mavis Dean, Travis “Trey” Parker, Thomas “Bud” Parker and Jim Parker.

Mrs. Dewana Gayle Lashley Grillette, age 58 of Black Lake, Louisiana went home to be with her Lord Sunday, November 1, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born Friday, December 21, 1956 in Montgomery, Louisiana to the union of EH and Omeria DuBois Lashley. Those left to cherish her memory include her Husband, Ron C. (Chris) Grillette, Black Lake, LA; Son, Joshua Bryant and wife Pagie, Montgomery; Daughter, Shonda Bruce and husband Andrew, Montgomery; Sister, Delores Mercer and husband James, Lafayette; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Iatt Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Anderson officiating. Interment followed in Oglesby Family Cemetery in Verda, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield. Serving the family as pallbearers were Punkin Lashley, Donny Lasyone, Gage Gibbs, T.J. Lashley, Jimmy Perkins, Bobby Joe Chelette.
