As the strong, loving, patient and disciplined matriarch of a large and vibrant family, her first love and greatest talent for more than 70 years was caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and collecting cook books and antiques. She especially looked forward every summer to “Girls Week” in Florida with her daughters and granddaughters.
