Happy Birthday Mama, April 7, 1922 – Dec. 26, 2011. God gave me the best mom in the world. I miss you so badly, your smile, your green eyes, your laugh, your funny sayings, your hugs, your butterfly kisses, your teasing me about eating too many biscuits, and then offering me a candy sucker. Not a breath goes by that I don’t think of you and miss you. You were my Mama and my Daddy when I was a little girl, and a very best friend when I was growing up. Thank you for teaching me about Heavenly Father and Jesus and how to pray and commune with them. Oh, how I love you, Mama. It’s been 4 years and 3 months. Help me live without you – until we meet again. Philemon 1:4.

In Loving Memory of Fred Chandler December 29, 1944 April 2, 2015

The Day God Took You Home

A million times I’ve needed you. A million times I’ve cried. If love alone could have saved you, You never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, No one else can ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, But you didn’t go alone. Part of me went with you, The day God took you home. It was one year ago that God called you home. We miss you every day but we take comfort in the fact that you are finally healed. We are so thankful for the many years we had with you and know that one day we will see you again in Heaven. You were the best husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. You live on in our wonderful memories of you. You’re always in our heart. We know you are watching over us always.
