Moss Home Health Celebbrates 20 Year Anniversary of Three Special Workers

Moss Home Health celebrated the 20 year anniversary of three special employees on Friday, November 1, 2013. These special ladies are Chris Walker, Genaye Williams, and Teresa Phillips. Chris Walker, began her employment with Moss on July 6, 1993. She has worn many hats as the company grew and is currently in charge of the billing department. Genaye Williams is a Certified Nursing Assistant and has been lovingly assisting her patients since August 17, 1993. Teresa Phillips is a Licensed Practical Nurse. She has been with the company since October 22, 1993. Teresa is currently working in the Oasis Department for Moss.

On Saturday, November 16, Alpha Beta Chaper of Delta kappa Gamma sponsored an Art Camp for selected second grade students of Winn Parish. Mr. Daniel Rockett, along with Middle School and Calvin art students led the participants in a variety of activities.

Brody Tucker is the son of Matt and Dawn Tucker. He was a scarecrow for Halloween. He had a blast trick or treating and receiving lots of candy. He also won first place in three costume contests. We are very proud of you. Love, Mom and Dad.

November 11 is Veterans Day, reminding us of those who give us freedom in this great country. Blood donors also provide a valuable service in our country. Mercer Autobiography Now Available

Former Winnfield resident, W. Elmo Mercer, 81, has released his autobiography. A graduate of Winnfield High School in 1950 he went on to a career in Christian music in Nashville, TN. When a fourth and fifth grade student he had two years of piano lessons from Mrs. W. R. Horton. At thirteen he became pianist for the new Laurel Heights Baptist Church, later serving as pianist/organist at First Baptist.
