U.S. Supreme Court Betrays America on Birthright Citizenship

I firmly disagree with the Supreme Court ruling last week on the issue of birthright citizenship. American citizenship is fundamentally incompatible with the invasion of illegals that we see in our nation, many of whom pose a clear and present danger to our national security.

Birthright citizenship derives from the 14th Amendment, which states in pertinent part that “all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.” It is that middle clause that is critical. What does “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” mean?

U.S. Will Shine as Primary Host, Competitor, in World Cup

In the hectic and troubled times in which we live, we seek unifying worldwide events. In fact, it could be said that global competition underscores the international language of athletics. One such event is upon us.

The FIFA World Cup soccer competition will be played primarily in the U.S. over the next few weeks. Although co-hosted by Mexico and Canada, 78 of the 104 matches across 11 cities will be played in the U.S. As we are certainly aware, the 2026 World Cup coincides with America’s 250th Anniversary, providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight American ingenuity, worldclass hospitality, and athletic excellence. In fact, _Fox News_ reports that “Europeans are obsessed with America during 2026 World Cup stay.”

Iran: A Clear and Present Danger

Before the first bomb of Epic Fury had been dropped, Iranian officials defiantly informed President Trump’s negotiators— who have diligently tried to avoid war— that the Islamic Republic possessed enough enriched fuel to build eleven nuclear bombs. And, a ccording to lead U.S. negotiator, Steve Witkoff, that was the beginning of their negotiating stance.”

That is why President Trump’s three-month effort to rid the world of this nuclear menace is both justified and profoundly necessary. In fact, since those first 38 days of bombing, the U.S. has been in a ceasefire, engaging militarily in only defensive strikes when we are either under attack or see an attack being planned, such as with the planting of mines in the Strait of Hormuz. We haven’t undertaken offensive military action in a number of weeks.

Thirst. Have you ever been so thirsty that it felt like you could spit in the ocean and raise a dust cloud? There have been times when I felt like that, but in reality, I’ve never had a thirst that was near death. While most of our planet is covered with undrinkable sea water, God has thoughtfully provided enough fresh water to take care of the needs of life on Earth.

I remember an occasion from my childhood when my brother, my cousin, and I decided to take a hike through the country. It was an extremely hot day and we didn’t think to bring any water with us. After a bit, the heat started getting to us (or so we thought). It seemed we had walked for many miles but really it may have been one. However, to young boys it seemed we were dying of thirst.

President Trump traveled to China last week to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and he didn’t go alone. Accompanying him were some of the most influential Trump Administration officials, including Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bissent, U.S. Trade Representative, Jamieson Greer, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, to name a few.

Perhaps even more notably, on the trip were some of the most prominent leaders of business and industry in the world, including Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, Jensen Huang, Nvidia CEO, to whom the Trump Administration gave its approval, with new security requirements, to sell to China one of its most powerful AI chips, as well as Robert “Kelly” Ortberg, CEO of Boeing, and a host of other CEOs and business titans.

Trump Right to Threaten Removal of U.S. Troops from Disloyal ‘Allies’

President Trump is reportedly considering pulling American troops out of nations that have not been supportive of the U.S. effort in Iran and placing them in nations that have. I think such a decision is well-advised and long overdue.

European nations are largely weak and gutless. What more dire warning does a nation need than that the murderous Iranian regime is on the cusp of a nuclear bomb— which it would not hesitate to use to annihilate its Middle Eastern neighbors, including Israel—and then the rest of the world?!

So, Trump may move U.S. troops from NATO countries unhelpful to the U.S. and relocate them in nations that are viewed as supportive of our critical effort. It could also involve closing U.S. bases in countries like Spain or Germany who are highly unreliable, if not hostile to, U.S. interests.

Ever since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, it’s been there. What is it?

“A clear-and-present danger.”

Yes, God told them what would happen if they disobeyed Him: “The day you eat thereof you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:17). And, even though they didn’t drop dead the minute they ate of the “devil’s dainty,” it didn’t take long for them to realize that their sin had “wages:” physical and spiritual death.

Likewise, it didn’t take long to realize how one sin precipitates another: which was evident in Cain’s killing his brother, Abel, and God later destroying the world with a Flood. And, even until today, every sin has a “wage” or consequence and, ultimately, will be judged by God, a Holy God, Who MUST punish sin.

As America approaches the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, I think it is timely and important to address this topic.

In a compellingly written declaration for the ages, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas highlighted the dangers of Progressivism to our American constitutional form of government. The premise of his statement is that the values enshrined in the Declaration of Inde-pendence are no longer popular among many Americans who are foolishly open to progressivism taking their place. ‘Progressiv-ism’ is a dishonest term which masks the brutal atheistic socialism of Nazism and Soviet Communism.

The dangers of Progressivism include an unlimited expansion of government power that stifles liberty and creates highly inefficient bureaucracies, coupled with the scornful dismissal of traditional American values.

The Bible is no ordinary book, and is in actuality, so much more than a book, that it should have a higher form of reference, (if we had such a term, we would use it!) Moreover, the Bible is the only Book that chronicles all three phases of time known to man.

Everyone understands that God’s Word covers all of history, but perhaps not the present or future. But it does, nonetheless. And we can even prove this claim through the study of Bible Prophecy.

America’s Asian and European ‘Allies’ Remain Unreliable

President Trump requested this past week that our North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) “allies” assist in keeping the Strait of Hormuz open, safe, and passable for oil tankers. One of the dangers in the Strait is the placement by the Iranian military of mines in the waterway. European countries are said to possess abundant minesweepers, and this assistance would ease the burden on our armed forces which are also engaged in other far-flung parts of the world. But our so-called allies have thus far refused, or, at best, offered only empty lip service in support of the effort to keep the Strait open, from which they benefit far more than does the U.S.
