A two day workshop in suicide intervention skills (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) was held on November 18-19, 2024, in Winnfield. Save Cenla partnered with the Central Louisiana Human Services District, and sponsors include Huey P. Long, CLTCC, and the following buisnesses: Bubba’s 33, Christ Wesleyan Fellowship Church, Community Outreach Ministries, Hope Bible Institute, Huey P. Long, IA Lewis School, Cypress Springs Elementary, Ques Tech Learning, Ruston High School, Ruston Jr. HS, Winn Sheriff’s Office, and WPMC.
