Active Shooter Training Held at WSHS

The Louisiana State Police along with the Winn Parish Sheriff ’s Office hosted a part two to the original Active Shooter Training Class. All law enforcement was invited to attend. The training was held at WSHS. The event was held inside of the school and Airsoft guns were used during the active scenarios. The following officers were present for the training: Daniel Mason Hagan (Dodson Police Dept.), Jason L Turner (Winn Parish Sheriff Office), James W Jones (Dodson Police Dept.), Cassidy F Martin (Winnfield Police Dept.), Charles M Curry (Winnfield Police Department),

Jimmy R Fife (Winn Parish Sheriff Office), Brian J Glenn (Winn Police Department), William Chelette (Winn Parish Sheriff Office), Wayne Hagan (Winn Parish Sheriff Office), Andy Roberts (Winn Parish Sheriffs Office), Stacy Johnson (Winn Parish Sheriff Office), Edward Harrell (Winn Parish Sheriff Office), Russell Jones (Winnfield Police Department). Those that led the training include: Trooper Ronnie Dowden (Ret.), Trooper Young Kilpatrick (Ret. Major), TFC Wes Head, and Sgt. Chance Guilliams.
