Diane Wheat of Kayotes Krazee Kakti in Winnfield (at right) sells a Firestick Cactus to Brooke Parrent of Pineville at the Natchitoches Farmers Market on the Downtown Riverbank Saturday morning. The market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon through July 22. The succulent, also known as a pencil tree, is native to Africa.
