Three women educators were initiated into the Alpha Beta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma at the April 25 meeting held at the Louisiana Political Museum. They were Bethany Riley, Karla Higginbothom, and Susi Jones. Following the traditional ceremony, the new initiates were welcomed into the organization by Alpha Beta members.
