Community gathers for Easter Event

The Easter Bunny stayed at the Earl K. Long park after scattering Easter Eggs to take pictures with children.

The Community Easter Event was held in the Earl K. Long Memorial Park on Saturday April 3 where children of all ages hunted close to 10,000 eggs scattered by the Easter bunny, who stayed around to take pictures with the children.

Other events were inflatables for children to play on, a cakewalk for children 12 and under to win cake prizes donated by the community, cotton candy provided by the rotary club and the Family church provided hot dogs for lunch free of charge.
