On Monday, January 18, 2021, William “Bill” Kelley passed away from complications associated with a stroke. He was 72 years old.

Bill is survived by his wife Kim L. Brantley, Sister Kerry Bradford, grandchild, great grandchildren, cousins, nephews and niece in laws. He was proceeded in death by his parents Theodore and Mary Sanders Kelley, bother Dale and daughter Nikki.

Bill was a Vietnam Veteran with the Navy, Aviation. Received 3 BS degrees from Northwestern. He continued to keep abreast with scientific discoveries, watched astronomical events with his telescope, and observed the space station as it passed over. He played the Question of the day with Alexia, every day. He ended his work career as the Director of Public Works with the City of Winnfield.

Bill was an extraordinary woodcarver, flint knapper and painter. He loved to play guitar and fiddle. He read books incessantly. He was a dyed -in-the-wool traveler, visited most of the Mayan ruins, spoke Spanish and loved spicy food.

On a personal note Bill was a wonderful, committed husband and my best friend. We were inseparable in this life and I expect to pick up our adventures in the next.
