Ms. Milner was a native of Winnfield and graduated from Winnfield High School in 1951. Desiring a career as a nurse, she immediately entered Warner Brown School of Nursing in Eldorado, Arkansas. Ms. Milner was a member of First Baptist Church Winnfield. Working with young children was very special to her. For years, you would find her in the nursery and/or children’s’ department. After retiring from her nursing career, Marlene kept young children in her home which was a special blessing. Southern Gospel music was very close to her heart. She always enjoyed attending singings close and far away with family and friends, especially to hear The Gaithers.

Marlene also enjoyed her high school reunions and the chance to visit with close school friends. She was an avid supporter of sports events, especially the Winnfield Tiger football, softball, and basketball teams. She loved cheering each team on to victory!
