Adam Heath Poisso

Adam Heath Poisso, age 31 of Monroe, Louisiana passed away at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, Monday May 11, 2020, after a tragic vehicular accident. Mr. Poisso was born in Ruston, Louisiana, August 1, 1988. He was employed as a security officer at Justice Security and through his job, often interacted with senior citizens whom he loved helping.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James E. Poisso Sr. and Margie Hughes Poisso as well as his maternal grandfather James L. Moore Jr.

Adam is survived by his parents Bobby J. Poisso and Jana Lea Moore Poisso, maternal grandmother Joan Lowery Moore, sister Allison Poisso Carpenter (Nick), brother Aaron Moore Poisso, nieces Savannah Carpenter, Kate Carpenter and nephew Jameson Carpenter. He also leaves to cherish his memory aunts and uncles Patrick and Jena Mayo, David and Jaron Fontenot, Jimmy and Lois Poisso, Philip and Margaret Crawford, as well as his close. special friend Chelsea Towner and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Adam also leaves behind two furrbabies, which he was fond, of Murdock and Bishop.

Funeral services for Mr. Poisso were held at 10:00 a.m., at the Central Assembly of God in Winnfield, with Bro. Russell Jones officiating. Interment followed in the Antioch Cemetery near Quitman.

Friends visited with the family at the church on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and also on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.

The family requested that individuals should use their own discretion in deciding whether or not to attend visitation and or services due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The family was understanding if you were not able to attend and ask that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers for the coming days and weeks.

Serving as pallbearers were Justin Curry, Chip Curry, Cleve Grant, Joe Chapman, Bobby Richards, and David Loftin. Chuck Curry and Nick Carpenter were honorary pallbearers.
