After losing the last two games, the Tigers won big over the 3-A Buckeye Panthers 39-6 at Stokes Walker Stadium last Thursday night. It didn’t take long for the Tigers to get on the score board as they marched 65 yards capped off by a 15 yard pass from Eli Spangler to Jailyn Carter. DeBusk hit the extra point for a quick 7-0 lead. After a bone jarring tackle by freshman Alex Adams, Winnfield forced Buckeye to punt. The Tigers next possession looked promising until a backwards pass was picked up by Buckeye and taken to the five. The Tiger defense held for three downs and on 4 th and one Buckeye snuck it in for six. Buckeye missed the extra point.
