Local Hog Traps Available to Landowners

Debra Hubbard, Dugdemona SWCD, Justin Reed US Forest Service, Brad Cooper, US Forest Service District Ranger, Madelyn Cheatwood, NRCS Natchitoches Field Office, and Macey Canerday, Natchitoches SWCD.

The Dugdemona Soil and Water Conservation District and the US Forest Service Winn Ranger District have recently signed an agreement to provide Feral Swine Trapping assistance to any landowner who owns or controls property within a 1-mile radius of the Winn Ranger District. This is a 5-year agreement to provide trapping assistance to control Feral Swine populations near Forest Service land.

Dugdemona SWCD personal presented a program on Feral Swine Control and the new agreement with the US Forest Service.
