Mayor Holds Public Town Hall Meeting

September 27th, Mayor George Moss called to order a public town hall meeting. His goal to was to anyone with concerns for the city to be brought before him, to allow their voice to be heard and take care of their situation.

The first thing the Mayor presented to the audience was the thanks to the staff of the City Hall, for not only working so well in the past 90 days he has been in office, but also doing the preparations for the meeting.

He mentioned that the software for City Hall has been updated. When he first started in office, it was brought the mayor’s attention that there was mold growing in the certain parts of city hall, so there fore they have been renovating the inside of city hall with new walls and flooring. Also the Allen building has been refreshed with a new coat of paint on the outside, and the inside, along with new chairs and tables.
