Winnfield Senior High School Tiger Baseball

After the Winnfield Senior High School Baseball seven game winning streak was snapped in a 2 – 3 loss to Cedar Creek High School, and falling to North DeSoto High School, the boys rallied back to defeat a strong 4 – A Buckeye High School team with a score of 3 – 1.

The boys were then defeated by Loyola Prep, who is ranked 10th in the state in Division 2 for private schools, with a score of 1 – 3.

The Tigers started district play with a sweep of Red River High School with three games, none of which went past the 5th inning. The first game was played at home and was halted as the Tigers were coming up to bat in the bottom of the 4th inning. The Tigers had a 10 – 0 lead, when the game was stopped due to bad weather.
