Williams Boys Have Special Weekend at Deer Camp

In an excellent tune up for the State Meet, the Tiger cross country team raced to a 5th place finish against a strong field at the Lakeside Anthill Classic. Competing against 12 schools from all classifications, the Tigers had their best race of the season over the hilly 3 mile course.

Once again, junior Tyler Hight led the team with a 2nd place finish at 16 minutes 49 seconds. Edward Teal crossed in 18:43 with Cole DeBusk finishing in 20:04. Kaleb Hemphill posted a time of 21:31 followed by Brandon Florence in 23:10. Jailyn Carter finished in 23:48 and K.J. Evans in 26:02.

Three Lady Tiger runners had an excellent meet as Gabrielle Hasley and Grayce McDavid finished in 27:07 while freshman Alia Holden posted a personal best time of 28:17.
