Sherry Eidt Speaks to Kiwanis Club

Sherry Eidt, local membership sales manager of AirMedCare Network spoke to the Kiwanis club Tuesday, April 11th. AirMedCare is an alliance among Air Evac Life Team, Med-Trans Air Medical Transport, and REACH Air Medical Services creating America’s larger air ambulance membership network.

The Air Evac Lifeteam services rural areas and one is stationed behind the Winn Parish Medical Center. Last month 17 flights originated there. There are 6 bases in Louisiana and they are at Shreveport, Rayville, Opelousas, Kinder, Oschner and now Winnfield. The rotor wing (helicopter) is what is stationed at these bases. They also have 37 fixed wings that are available for different reasons. It is an air ambulance service that transports to a higher level of care. The Winnfield base began operation for this area in the middle of February. Each flight has a registered nurse, a paramedic and the pilot
