Pea Patch Gallery to HostPhotography ShowThrough End of May

The Pea Patch Gallery is hosting a photography show by local professional photographer, Joe Stroud. The show will be up through the end of May, and is of special interest to locals.

On display are several of Mr. Stroud’s wildlife images. They are large images, with some even printed on canvas.

When asked about how he became interested in wildlife photography, Mr. Stroud said, “As a child growing up in north Louisiana, the outdoors played a pivotal role in forming my passion for nature and wildlife. Like most kids, spending time hunting and fishing were the first steps to understanding the woods, the movements and behavior of its inhabitants. My passion for photography began when I saw Jim Brandenburg’s image, “White Wolf Leaping” in National Geographic magazine.”
