And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and thereshall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shallthere be anymore pain: for the former things are passed away.Revelation 21:4Sandra Lynn Jones was born on March 19, 1953 inJonesboro, LA to the late John Henry Jones and Eloise Jones.Sandra united with Holy Ground Church of God in Christ at anearly age.Sandra began her career in the medical field in 1977 as aRegistered Nurse at Winnfield General Hospital. The follow-ing year she worked as an lCU Pediatric Nurse at LakewoodMedical Hospital in Morgan City, LA. Sandra also worked atSouth Louisiana Medical Center and Madison Parish NursingHome. She relocated to Pasadena, CA in 1981 and served as aStaff Registered Nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, andStaff Developer. During her tenure at LSU, from 1987-1999,she was a Clinical Instructor, taught CPR classes, and trainedpotential registered nurses. At the conclusion of her medicalcareer she was employed at The Shop, Uncle Joe’s and theSummer Feeding Program. She was an avid cook and enjoyedcaring for others.Sandra departed this life on April 20, 2015 in Winnfield,Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her father, John HenryJones; husband, Tommy Lee Webber; and son, John AndisJones.Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, NatashaTillison, Colfax, LA; mother, Eloise Jones, Winnfield, LA; sis-ters: Joann Madsen (Dan), Apple Valley, CA; Deborah South(James) Leesville, LA; Scarlette Bolds (William); WendyWilson (Burt); Sherry Forest, Resa Johnson (Eric), Sadie Jones,LaShunda Hobdy (Darren), all of Winnfield, LA; Shirley“Faye” Ross (George), Jacksonville, FL; Lolita Degrafenread(Brian), De Ridder, LA; Vickie Jones, Brandon, MS; FeleafiaJones, Hattiesburg, MS; brothers: Arthur “Roy” Carpenter,Duncanville, TX; Vernon Jones, Winntield, LA; Micheal Jones,Mitchell Jones both of Opelousas, LA; John “Pa” Jones(Penny), Bossier City, LA; Marcus Jones, Natchitoches, LA andJeremy Jones (Susan), Killeen, Texas; grandchildren: CoryThomas, MaKenzie Smith, Dallas Sykes and Tristan LaCroix,all of Colfax, LA, godsisters: Teresa Durham, Lisa MosesJones; godbrother, Stafford Moses, Jr., a number of uncles,aunts, nephews, nieces and three godchildren; a host of cousins,and many devoted friends, which include special friends: Etoyand Betty Ashley, Charles McHenry, W.P. Anderson, LisaHardwell, Lavada Wright, Benny Mary Booker, and JerryLawrence.
