Mr. Stacy Dwayne Potts

Mr. Stacy Dwayne Potts, age 47 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014. Born Monday, June 12, 1967 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Jessie Robertson Potts and 
Hester Potts; his Maternal Grandmother Lucille Shaw; and his paternal grandparents, Lemon Potts and Gracie Potts. Mr. Potts was a paramedic with the Jackson Parish Ambulance Service and former dispatcher with the Winnfield City Police Department. He enjoyed attending church, cooking, and was an avid race car enthusiast. Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife, Michelle Brown Potts, Winnfield, LA; Daughter, Sarah Gresham and husband Tom, Winnfield, LA; grandson Marcus Gresham, Winnfield, LA; sister Sherry Potts of Winnfield, LA; mother and father-in-law Sheila and Duane Brown, brothers and sisters in laws, nieces and nephews, Alexie Carter, Rick Valdez, Dennis Aardema, Richard Brown,  Evee Brown, and numerous Great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 09, 2014 at The Family Church with the Reverends Hayward Hossler, Joel Hines and Russell Jones officiating. Interment followed in Zion Hill Cemetery in Tannehill under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Serving the family as pallbearers were Tracy Wold, Bobby Poisso, Paul Pruitt, Lawrence Desadier, Shannon Blake, Dougie Murphy, Stanley Martin, Hon., Michael Heard, Hon., M. G.
