Funeral services for Norman Eugene Bedgood were held Monday, July 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home, Winnfield, Louisiana with Dr. Calvin Phelps and Rev. John Holland officiating. Interment followed in Garden of Memories in Winnfield. Mr. Bedgood, 72, was born Sunday, May 17, 1942 in Goldonna, Louisiana and passed  away Friday, July 25, 2014 in Goldonna. He was preceded in death by his parents M. D. and Cecile Gunter Bedgood,  Brothers, Claude and Lonnie Bedgood, Sr., Sisters, Helen Puglise, and Frances David. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 44 years, Priscilla Long Bedgood of Goldonna, LA, a daughter, Kimberly Caldwell and husband Shane, a son, Christopher Bedgood and wife Candace; Grandchildren, Ashlyn, Dillon, Wyatt & Molly,
all of Calvin, LA; Sister, Carolyn Matherne and husband Willie of Metairie, LA and “Uncle Buck” to numerous nieces and
nephews. Mr. Bedgood was a 1960 graduate of Hahnville High School, Hahnville, LA. He was a United States Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of First Baptist Church, Winnfield, LA. Mr. Bedgood, better known as “STORMIN NORMAN”, was a retired planning supervisor from Willamette Industries. He enjoyed woodworking, watching LSU Football, and fishing with his grandchildren and friends. Serving the family as pallbearers were Danny Bedgood, Steve Bedgood, Terry Bedgood, Jake Long, Zeke Mathias, Butch Pray, Jerry Smith and Rusty Thompson. Honorary pallbearers
were Wyatt Bedgood, Dillon Caldwell, Craig David, Mack Dickinson, Bobby Gates and Willie Matherne. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 201 E.
