After 17 years of dedication to the Winn Parish Police Jury and the city, she will be missed. Ms. Goods helped many to find suitable housing. Kim Nation speaks to Kiwanis Club

Article Image Alt Text

Kim Bruce introduced her Pilot Club friend Kim Nation to speak to the club about a project that the Pilot Club is starting. It is a project to memorialize veterans in our area. The project involves putting bricks with the veteran’s names and other information about them around the three flagpoles that are located behind the Farmer’s Market.

The Police Jury has given their permission for the Pilot Club to do this. These bricks are epoxy-filled and are weather resistant. If something were to happen to the brick it would be replaced. The bricks would be installed by a professional bricklayer.
