On Friday, August 30, hundreds of Winn Parish citizens gathered downtown to welcome the convoy of numerous police officers from across the state that escorted the remains of SPC Clayton Horne to Winnfield. SPC Horne also served as a deputy with the Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office and was a resident of Atlanta, La. He died while serving our country in Saudi Arabia on August 17, 2019.
