Tommy Ray Crouse

Mr. Tommy Ray Crouse, age 53 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018. Mr. Crouse was a retired truck driver and was owner/operator of T&D Trucking and was known as “Buttermilk”. He was previously a mill worker and also previously owned Tommy’s Saw Shop as well as a landscaping business. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and as a provider and protector. Born Wednesday, September 16, 1964 in Prescott, Arkansas, he was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy A. Crouse and Carolyn J. Crouse; brother-in-law, Johnny McKinley; niece, Jennifer Culp. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 35 years, Dorothy Bailey Crouse; daughters, Denice Holland (Ray), Elizabeth Crouse, Janette Crouse and April Crouse Barton (Bob); 12 grandchildren; siblings, Jesse Roach, David Richardson, Leon Richardson, Tamara Gennings, Melody Gilbert and Renee Currey Smith. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle McGrew officiating. Interment followed in Old Union Cemetery, in Joyce. Serving the family as pallbearers were Scott Nugent, Rufus Folden, Jonathan McKinley, Cadyn Barton, Stacy Cockerhan and Chuck Stroud.
