Patricia Ann Hicks Keiffer, age 82, of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at her daughter’s home. She was born on September 21, 1943, in Winnfield, Louisiana, to the late Jesse Edward Hicks and Elsie Lee Garrett Hicks.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Patricia lived a life marked by laughter, loyalty, and deep affection for those she loved. She treasured the bonds of family above all else and found joy in visiting with friends and family. She will leave a lasting imprint on everyone blessed to share life with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L. C. Keiffer; siblings Joy Miller, Jessie Hicks, Carroll Hicks, Fred Hicks, and Mary Miller; and seven nieces and nephews.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Lee Ann Evans and husband Chris of Downsville, LA, and Charles Pierce “Chip” LaCaze; grandchildren Zack Turner, Angelle Turner, Reagan Turner, Lucas Turner, Matthew LaCaze, and Sidney Winchester; and greatg randchildren Emerson LaCaze and Mary Ann Winchester.

She is also survived by her first loves—her nieces and nephews— along with special nieces Debbie Hicks Fullerton and Denise Hicks Beavers; her best friend, Judy Robinson; and her favorite work friends, Doris and Johnny Ray.

Pallbearers were Zack Turner, Matthew LaCaze, Reagan Turner, Lucas Turner, Brendan Winchester, and Martin Beavers. Honorary pallbearers were Phillip Anderson and the Winnfield City Police Department.

Funeral services for Mrs. Keiffer were held at 1:00 p.m. in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Winnfield, with Bro. Jamie Orten officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends visited with the family in the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
