Vivian Ann Davidson

Vivian Ann Davidson, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother, peacefully passed away on September 18, 2024, in her beloved hometown of Winnfield, Louisiana. Born on October 21, 1944, Vivian dedicated her life to serving her community, starting as a valued employee at First Federal Savings & Loan in Winnfield. She later became a devoted homemaker and partner in Davidson Brothers Logging and Pine Ridge Ostrich Farm alongside her husband.
A certified horticulturist, Vivian had a profound passion for flowers and gardening, sharing her love of nature and nurturing spirit with everyone around her. Above all, her greatest joy came from her family, whom she raised with unwavering devotion.
Vivian is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Clyde Davidson, and her two sons, Steven Davidson (Selma) and Mark Davidson (Mandy). Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren: Tyler McManus (Samantha), Carolyne Davidson, Garrett Davidson, and Matthew Davidson, as well as her three greatgrandchildren: Raylee McManus, Kenlee McManus, and Haygen McManus.
Known for her warmth, kindness, and deep faith as a devoted Christian, Vivian touched the lives of all who knew her. Her family extends heartfelt thanks to Harbors Hospice, the staff at Autumn Leaves, Dr. Eric Dupree, Jeanetta Jewitt, and Sue Shelton for their love and care during her final days. Vivian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Public visitation was held at Hargis Baptist Church on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A funeral service was held at Hargis Baptist Church on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Doug James and Rev. Lloyd Witman officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Honoring Vivian’s memory as pallbearers were Michael Davidson, Travis Davison, Ronnie Davidson, Matthew Davidson, Garrett Davidson, and Tyler McManus.
