The cooler weather set the scene for a perfect day of giving in Winnfield on Dec 17. The annual “Shop With a Cop” program brought out over a 100 children as well as many great servants of the community. Walmart of abuzz with kids running around finding just what they wanted for Christmas with their monetary gift from the Shop With a Cop program. This would not be possible without the great volunteers, lost of donations from businesses and citizens, and of course public servants. Mr. Jessie Phillips, program coordinator, kept things organized and made sure there were lots of smiles on the faces of many children. Continue to page 16 for more pictures.
