Mrs. Toni McAllister with the Louisiana Loggers Association spoke with students in grades 3rd-10th at Atlanta High School on National Loggers Day on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 about the logging and timber industry. The Louisiana Logger’s Association, Inc. was founded by a group of timbermen for the principle purpose of providing a voice for loggers and wood haulers in the State of Louisiana. “In order to more effectively sustain and promote the logging industry today, loggers must have a voice in the development of legislative and regulatory policies that play a vital role in our businesses. We advocate at the local, state, and federal levels of government on laws and regulations affecting our members. 100% of our Board of Directors are loggers. We are fully committed and specifically focused on advocating policies that help stabilize and achieve substantial savings on operating costs for Louisiana loggers.”
