Mr. Dustin Maris Pickron, age 34, of Winnfield, LA, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

Though Dustin’s life may have been short, it was full, crammed with love, laughter, and an unending stream of joyful moments. Dustin worked at O’Reilly Auto Parts here in Winnfield, LA for 3 years now, and boy was he a master of fixing things, but more importantly, he had a way of fixing hearts and spirits. He taught

others the true meaning of generosity, resilience, and joy. He had this incredible ability to lift spirits and make everything seem brighter. His joy was infectious, especially that great big belly laugh he had, and it was impossible to be upset in his presence.

Dustin loved everyone he encountered and made it his mission to bring light into their lives. His excitement for life was unique, and no matter what the day before dealt him, he always greeted the next with a smile and boundless energy. He cherished all of his family, friends, and his sweet furbaby Pappaw deeply and found immense joy in the simple joys of life, from sharing a meal to singing his heart out. His full-bodied and contagious laughter could fill a room and brighten even the darkest days.

Dustin was a jack of all trades!! He had a competitive spirit and always aimed to be better, to do more, to help more. But above all, he desired to share his joy and knowledge with others. Whether it was fixing something broken, or simply lending an ear, Dustin was always there and ready to help anyone who needed it.

Let us carry his memory in our hearts and always remember his laughter, his smile, and his boundless energy. Let us honor him by embracing the same enthusiasm for life, helping others as he did, and by finding joy in the little things. Dustin’s spirit will always be with us, a guiding light in times of darkness and a reminder to live life with love, laughter, and endless curiosity.
