Terry Allen Chandler

Terry Allen Chandler, age 72 of Dodson, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

He was born Tuesday, September 20, 1949 in Winnfield, Louisiana. He was a millwright during his working career, was an avid duck hunter and fisherman. He was a devoted member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents James A. Chandler & Geneva Moffett Chandler; wife Charlotte Higgs Chandler, and his fourlegged hunting partner “Blackberry” the dog.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters Nikki O’Neal, and Libby Chandler Rushing; one grandchild Hannah Cox (Jacob); Great Grandchildren Elijah and Elizabeth Grace Cox; three brothers Rayford Chandler (Sherry), Tommy Chandler (Fonda), Phillip Chandler.

The family received friends on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church from 9AM until 11AM,time of services with Rev. Rayford Chandler and Rev. Jack Fluitt officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Serving the family as pallbearers were David Frieu, Marlon Little, Dan Taylor, Jacob Cox, Ross Maggio, Paul Jordan.
