Carolyn Jeanette Maggio

Mrs. Carolyn Jeanette Maggio, age 71 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021.

Born Friday, January 13, 1950 in Hodge, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by parents, Pearl May Slaughter Ashely and Louis Ashley; brother, Louis Ashely; and husband, Roy Maggio,

Mrs. Maggio was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She had many hobbies that she enjoyed including, interior decorating, flower gardening, and crafting. Holidays were special to Mrs. Maggio. She loved spending time with her grandchildren who knew her for baking cookies and brownies.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Tracy Kelley; sons, Ross Maggio and Kelly Maggio; grandchildren, Sam Maggio, Hannah Maggio, Jyssie Kelley, Manny Kelley, Autumn Maggio, Sebashtian Ashmore, and Jasmine Maggio; great grandchildren, Gunner Maggio, and Riley Kinder; brother Leroy Ashely (Judy); special close family, Jerry Williams, Rose Ashmore, and Brooklyn Bialey.

The family received friends on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. A Rosary service was held from 12:30 until service time.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Wade DeCoste officiating. Interment followed in Garden of Memories under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Sam Maggio, Manny Kelley, Spencer Kieffer, Jody James, Terry Rhodes, and Tommy Gresham, Jr.
